I'm helping find a good, safe home for a pretty little black cat who was hanging around the back of the Kelmscott Bookshop here in Baltimore (one of the finest for antiquarian books). He is healthy, neutered, loves other cats, and he wants to be loved so much that he will get up on his hind legs to get a pat from the closest hand. He is perhaps a year old, but not much more. And he chirps like a bird.
He is now bouncing between two foster Moms who have housefuls already. We wanted to get him off the mean streets because SOME people are especially bad to black cats around Halloween. Brrrr. Plus black cats seem to have a harder time finding homes.
